Arif Şimşek

Arif Şimşek graduated from the Faculty of Political Science at Ankara University in 1980 and completed his vocational training in Belgium.

He has held various positions within the government, including Head of the Revenue Department, Deputy General Director of Revenues, Deputy General Director and Board Member of Etibank, General Manager and Chairman of the Board of Eti Pazarlama ve Dış Ticaret A.Ş., Chairman of the Board of ETİ Product OY in Helsinki (Finland), General Director of Personnel at the Ministry of Finance, and Member of the Public Procurement Board.

Şimşek holds the title of independent auditor authorized by the Public Oversight, Accounting and Auditing Standards Authority, and continues to work as a certified public accountant.

Şimşek is the author of ten published books on finance, taxation, and procurement, as well as numerous professional articles in various newspapers and magazines. He is fluent in both French and English.
