Jahongir Abdurazakov

Jahongir possesses extensive experience in providing legal counsel to major multinational corporations within the petroleum industry. His expertise encompasses a wide range of areas, including upstream and downstream operations, tax matters, corporate and commercial law. Notably, he has played a pivotal role in advising on the legal structure of the first trans-border gas pipeline transaction.

Prior to his tenure at Tethys, Jahongir was a partner at a leading law firm in Uzbekistan. In this capacity, he advised globally renowned oil and gas servicing companies and contractors involved in the construction of infrastructure objects and energy projects. Additionally, he represented the acquisition of a telecommunications company that provides services to mobile operators. Jahongir has also developed considerable expertise in intellectual property, environmental law, government relations, corporate law, and investment law.
